gecko hypnosis

i was listening to a radio show that talked about a reporter who was at a foreign country, i did'nt catch which, and she was using "Glade - Country spice" air freshener, and discovered that geckos came out of the woodwork and were mesmerized by the scent and hung around this air freshener for hours. she put the thing away and the geckos disappeared; took it back out again and they came back!

u ever hear of this?
anyone care to test it.

I guess flowers attract insects so a heavy smelling flower would be like a buffeet for them?
