Hello from San Jose, CA!

Hi there!
New to herping in CA and my interest is snakes. As a teenager (many years ago) I have been herping in the Israeli Negev desert and am now returning to the hobby with my 8 yr old son (opening new worlds to the little man).
Hope to get some local advice on locations and activities.
Thanks!
Norm

Hello and welcome! Good to see your teaching your son about reptile. If more people did fewer people would be scared of them.

Weelcome.
Great for teaching your son and 'opening' doors for him. Early exposure to snakes and other wildlife is probably why I'm so comfortable around them now. - Thanks Dad~. <3
