Do you have any theraphosas? Got a friend who wants to sell me a female and I'm toying with the idea. I'm not crazy about display pets I can never handle but I understand these to be easily aggravated with beastly hairs.

I've got about 70 T's, mostly old world stuff like Pokies. You get two choices with T's, new worlds with urticating hairs but less painful bites, or old world with no hairs but very painful bites. I choose no hair LOL.
It really depends on the species and the T, some new world stuff like Avicularia are really docile and can't flick hairs.

OMG, I'd steer clear of the T. blondi's, they have wicked hairs

Re: new pics of my Poecilotheria ornata
Never got bitten but she haired the palm of my hand pretty bad. I'm told that the bite isn't bad compared to other things, and you shouldn't worry. I def don't want to get haired again though.

Re: new pics of my Poecilotheria ornata
The hairs cause an allergic reaction so guess some people will react more violently than others.
