Urgent !! Piece of orchid bark eaten with mouse.

Help peeps !!

Fed my Albino Royal in her viv but on a piece of card so wouldn't get any orchid bark down her throat but after the mouse had gone down I noticed she was opening her mouth continuously , after a close look with the help of a torch I could clearly see a small piece of bark stuck on the top of her mouth ( inside) .

I guess snakes get all kinds of dirt and bits down their throat when they feed in the wild .....just slightl concerned.

As long as it was a small piece I wouldnt worry too much at the moment. Keep an eye on her to see when she defecates... how big was it? Is it still stuck, as you might be able to pull it out carefully..

As long as she dislodged it she should be fine, the only thing you need to worry about is getting an internal puncture and impaction. I'm not experienced with this kind of substrate so i cant advise you on it specifically but if it were me I wouldn't be worried about 1 piece of substrate.
Keep an eye on her.

Should not be a problem only if it's really big.

It's only a very small piece , under half an inch long and just stuck with saliva in the top of her mouth. She just looked in a bit of discomfort.

If you're that concerned you can just open the snake's mouth and remove it with plastic tweezers very cautiously. Only if it's a very well established and well fed snake and only if you are certain that the item poses a significant threat to the snake (which this doesn't). But for future reference, you can remove anything that is in the mouth, especially at the top, without risk of injuring the snake. It will make it very angry and stressed though. So again, only if it is a critical item.

I wont even give my opinion, I'd like you to read what you said.

If it's a small piece, she shouldn't have too much trouble getting it out on her own.
