Snow fleas
Hey everybody,
I was looking through some pictures on my computer and came across these from winter break at the cottage. They're snow fleas. I did a project on them when I was younger and the teacher thought I made them up :P

Re: Snow fleas
I love the cottage in the winter, and in the spring we make maple syrup, so I need to be there to haul sap out of the woods and up to the cottage for cooking.
I know, they're so strange! They jump too, but too hard to take a video of because they're so small

Re: Snow fleas
I love winter at the cottage because you get to be laid back, go out when you want to, have hot chocolate when you want. I hate it in the city when you're trying to get places and traffic is screwed up and the driveway gets ploughed in with a mountain of snow!
I've never been camping in the winter or summer and the closest I've been to hunting is fishing (though I never really catch much, that's my sisters job, she just needs me there to get the fish off the hooks because she won't touch them)

Re: Snow fleas
wow, that must have been fun. :P
I remember a few years ago we were at the cottage in the summer and we have a place along a river so my sister and i look for frogs and such. We found some frogs, caught them, looked at them and then when we went to put them back we didn't want to let them go on the land because we didn't want our dogs to eat them so we put them just far enough into the water that the dogs wouldn't get them... a fish swam up and ate them
