Never heard of it but it looks wicked. It doesn't try to bite you?

Re: Unexpected suprise

make sure you keep it in the water you found it in and if you have it more than 24 hours change the water.

Re: Unexpected suprise

I've had way worse lol, water scorpions aren't as bad as getting hit by a wave and getting smashed into a coral wall, then getting 310-320 sea urchin spines removed from your rear/lower back.
Fun times, wooo.

Re: Unexpected suprise

I got owned by a riptide once!! but neither compare to a evil water scorpion!!!

I think it was a riptide anyways, was in Hawaii a wave knocked me to the sand under water pinned me down and then sucked me out underwater. All I had to do was stand up but I was getting tossed around so much and dragged against coral so much I didn't know I was in 4+ feet of waters.

Re: Unexpected suprise

It could have just been the current close to a reef normally rip tides pull you out to sea instead of tossing you around, they are much more of a constant pulling that you may or may not actually feel, half the time you are just swimming and you look around and you've gone 20-30 feet farther then you expected.

Not sure why i wrote 310-320... it was only about 150 spines.
