Re: Night lights?

yea i was thinking of getting a uth's instead of the bulbs for both my snakes.
going to have to put my 4x2x2 wooden viv on pegs and hope it doesn't warp or die of heat transfer.

Re: Night lights?

so my options are..
1. just use night glo with bluelish color ..provide heat and i can see him like under natural moonlight. but in wild moonlight shines on forest bedding too..i dont see y it would disturb him..?
2. lights out where no heat will provided and cant see anything..
3. heat glo..provided heat and lights that wont interfere him but me..bright up my whole room...
4. Ceramic..provide heat but cant see him...add night glo would be way too hot...
dont really want to use uth...unless i mount on back wall....
i dont know what to choose...if they could make one light wont disturb me and pets that would be great... and still provide heat... haha

Re: Night lights?

Option 5

Ceramic heat emitter + low voltage aqurium LEDs

Heat + low light without adding extra heat source

hey! thats a good idea!! but it sounds like i can just use the night glo..since they produce same color compare to bluelish moonlight to LEDs..
