Capornicus's new enclosure
My first salt water aquarium that I shut down I moved my Leopard Gecko Capornicus from his small enclosure into it.
He hasn't stopped investigating since we put him in so we think he likes it.

Re: Capornicus's new enclosure
Beautiful leo and beautiful home!
Just one thing, not too keen on that substrate choice... but each to their own...

Re: Capornicus's new enclosure
I built a new double decker hide for capornicus's habitat so I thought I would post it for all to see.
I have added some new designs to my classified ad go check them out.

Re: Capornicus's new enclosure
You've done an incredible enclosure for your little one--it looks great. My only concern is your lamp--have you thought about getting a metal mesh guard for it?? When your leo gets bigger, you really don't want him to climb and burn (I'm glad to see it is on the side with the single hide and not the double decker).

leo's can't climb glass so i don't think it'd be an issue.

Re: Capornicus's new enclosure
The tank is a tall version so there is actually about 12 inches between the hide and the lamp and I of course have no plan to put anything that would give him access to the light.

Re: Capornicus's new enclosure
I never said anything about leo's climbing glass. I'm just thinking: "Better safe than sorry!"
