I will take that as a compliment Thank you!!

Im gonna post my email here so everyone can see how I keep my animals!!

Oh cool!! another boa person So your getting a true red tail?? bcc ie suri, Peruvian, Guyanese, Brazilian??? or are you getting a common?
The commons( bci) , pastels, morphs all the same are generally much easier as far as temp, caging, feeding.
I keep my room at 80 with a space heater. all males and everything under 2 yrs are kept in a rack with rubbermaid tubs and 11' flexx watt heat with a double ranco t-stat. My adults are kept in proline abs 48''x24''x17'' cages also with 11'' flexx watt. The hot side I keep at about 89-92 the ambient temp stays around 82. humidity since Im in texas is alittle higher generally around 60%. My animals have awesome sheds I dont agree with cycling, my temps stay the same year round. I used to use lights about 20 yrs ago, had alot of humidity/feeding issues have switched to strictly belly heat and havent had a problem since. If it does get colder in the winter months I bump up my space heater.

are you using an aquarium?? if so I have some tips to help with temps and security. I of course will always recommend the tubs though. They keep humidity very well and give your boa lots of security.

I use aspen for substrate, its easy to clean..I spot clean once a week and do thorough dump and scrub once a month. It doesn't mold, I have no problems with ingestion. Ive also used newspaper..its not pretty but works great! they like to hide under it.

I feed on a every 7 days schedule for everything under 18 months. A prey sized enough to leave a slight bump for a 24 hr period. everything above 18 months gets fed every 12 days. hahah I could go on and on and on.

I love boas they have awesome temperaments, great feeders there is alot of pretty morphs out there..couldn't go wrong with these guys! their great with my kids! You've made a great choice coming to the boa world!!

I think I covered the basics, have any specific questions???
