Fresh Pics post shed of my SD Retic

Here is Doc, i LOOOOVE him, by far my favourite snake. So calm so chilled out. I can touch his head and stroke between his eyes without him flinching.

The EYE!!!!

I agree, just a shame that the camera cant pic up the vitality of the scales.

Yeah it really is. I have been wanting to get a better camera so bad because I can't begin to show off how gorgeous my new babies are without a better camera. Even the best camera isn't like seeing it first hand though.

Re: Fresh Pics post shed of my SD Retic

Unfortunately the camera i get most of pics on is my phone, it is always to hand whereas i do have a very nice camerabut by the time it is set up the opportunity is gone. If i plan a photo session then i use the nice one tho.

Re: Fresh Pics post shed of my SD Retic

I would put him somewhere between four and five feet at the moment, hard to tell cos he is always wrapped around an arm when out of the viv.

You can certainly tell when he is watching you with those eyes - they kinda stare into your soul and you get a real feeling of "connection" with him.

Re: Fresh Pics post shed of my SD Retic

Awesome! I love my little retic as well. They have such interesting personalities, much different from my other snakes. If is hard to get pics that show off retics true iridescence. It is finally warming up here and if I make it home while there is still good light today, I may try to get some outside shots of mine!
