new baby
I've worked for years with snakes, and last year while living in Oregon I worked at a reptile house and fell in love w. the GTPs my boss put me in charge of...and decided to get one of my own.
He's a suspected aru/biak cross and has already bitten me, that little red mark on my wrist is all that he left.

Re: new baby
Well I think, as far as pets common in the pet trade goes, GTP's have the longest teeth and a generally nasty attitude(biters), but can learn to tolerate handling decently if held regularly.
When Non-Venomous+Venomous snakes, comparing who's teeth is bigger, I have no idea, but with non-venomous(pet trade commoners), I believe it's GTP's.

Re: new baby
my fingers are crossed that he'll warm up to me, it'll break my heart if he grows up and still doesn't want to be held. thanks for clearing up the teeth question, it's been a while since i've dealt w. snakes as pets issues haha.

GTP is the first, as stated above. Not sure about longest teeth in the venomous area.

Re: new baby
ah ok, the longest in the venomous area as far as im aware belongs to the egyptian (i think the egyptain hooded) cobra as they have teeth that measures between 1 1/2 - 2 inches long

Re: new baby
Nice gtp!!! Always wanted one, just no room for one... as for the longest teeth of the venomous types, I'm almost %100 positive that its the gaboon viper, believe their fangs are 2"+
