the great tank swap

the last few days i've been thinking about swapping my gecko's tank for my bp's.the bp's tank is taller and i only have a screen lid that sits on top, so i have to weigh it down with books and i feel the height lessens the heat from the 100w ceramic on top. the geckos tank is shorter and has the latch screen top, i figure the gecko doesn't need extra room, and the bp won't mind it, and i can stop using the books because gecko's don't climb. and i NEVER see the gecko in the little fake tree thing with the open top, so i figure the bp might like to hang out on it in his tank.

the bp's been cruising his tank checkin everything out the last half hour since i put him in.

Get some of those rock walls or whatever. Give him something to climb on and will make the tank look so much better. Do ya know what I mean?

Snake or lizard? I would assume lizard...but considering snakes and their poos I wouldn't doubt that either.

Well I guess that means he is happy with his new home considering he crapped. Now to see if he will eat in his new home...or out.

i'm gonna feed him again tomorrow, and i have NO DOUBT in my mind he'll eat. he's a piglett.
unlike mr stubborn dumerils lol. i've had his rat just hangin out for the last 2 months or so, now he lives in a bird cage on my floor lol.

my friend used to have a 5-6 foot redtail named The Senator and sometimes he would eat 2 rats and sometimes he wouldn't eat at all, and my friend always called the rats he had to house "death row" lol.

Its nice to have a snake that will actually eat for you! God if only I could be that lucky >.< I got more frozen pinks because my snake won't eat...had to put the poor things out of their misery.

Your friend seems like a hilarious person! How often does someone get the death sentence or are they permanently on death row?

i'm not really sure of the peramiters of the death penalty.

i'm pretty sure my bp is enjoying the heat lamp being closer to him. i came home earlier and he was basking on the stick in the corner.

You need to take more pics of him in his new tank. I would like to see him in his new home chilling and such.

Re: the great tank swap

Rofl! xD Death row, that's nice~ Also think it's funny your snake just cruised around and was like,"Cool... This place is swingin'! -craps and goes to curl up in a comfy hidey spot-" xD Awlawl~ Any it's quite funny to see the little gecky pressed up against the glass like,"What is this?! It's so tall!" xD I amuse myself c: .. and you all amuse me <3

Anywho, was probably a good move c: ... When I had planned on getting a Pinstripe Ball, I had moved my leo from his little 10 gallon to my 20 gallon so the baby BP could grow in the 10g until it was ready for the leo and do another swap. Ryu seemed to enjoy all the extra space but.. gotta say it made him lazier LOL Stayed in a hidey cave most of the time, 'cept when it was time to hunt down some noms. Then he nom nom nom'd... and slowly crept back into his cave, coming back home with his big accomplishment for the evening xD

I actually did have my BRB in the 10g for a while but... I was just having too many issues and had to do the swap for the two.
