leo shedding?
looks like my leo's goin into shed, he looks super dull and it looks like he already shed his face. how often do they shed? should i start misting his tank?
here's a pic of him a week or two ago for referance.
 
and aaaah, his cuteness kills me lol. and i love that he's so excited when hunting crickets.
i never realized lizards were so much fun to watch ^^

i think they shed like 1 or 2 times every few months nowhere near the frequency of a snake. key phrase i think

One things with lizards, dont expect a nice complete shed, it comes off in lumps and thats just the way it is.

Another cute picture of him passed out!  Do you have a moist hide for him to help aid him in shedding? A nice soak in a bath of 85 degrees will also help with his shedding, not too long or too deep.

he has a hide or two, but i've been meaning to get some moss to keep a moist hide, for both him and my BP.

You don't even need moss, just take one of those plastic containers an cut a hole on the side about 1/2 an inch above the bottom and line it with warm moist paper towel. So easy and cheap and you don't have to worry about your leo eating the moss and it getting tangled in his tummy. Give it a try he will love a nice warm, moist hide to relieve his skin.

Never misted, and since Leos are insectivores, I feed mine bugs.
The roaches are handy, gave up crickets, in the summer, grass hoppers are a treat...

Roaches are great feeders, also super worms. Proper belly heat is important for digesting their feeders.
