Yet another newbie... to forum and BP's.
Hello all! Glad I found this forum!! I'm in the Twin Cities, Minnesota but I'm originally from Alberta, Canada.
I am the proud new owner of a BP. She's only 7 months old. I named her Fluffy just to be funny. I dunno, kinda rethinking it now. We'll see. "You are what you eat"...
I have some experience with snakes but not much. Doing lots of research online but it's nice to be able to chat with people about it. I'm the only one of my friends with a snake and the ones that know about her think I'm crazy.
I'm learning as I go and just doing what I can to make her happy.
I work as a 911 Dispatcher. When I put my dog down in December I decided that I wanted a lower maintenance pet. My efforts to keep her stress free are actually keeping me stress free.

Re: Yet another newbie... to forum and BP's.
I'm at work right now and my computer wont allow me to post pics right now. I'll try to get some pics of her tonight. I want to post a pic of my terrerium to get some suggestions on what else I need for her. Her favorite spots are under her water dish and a humidity box.

Blaine huh... I used to frequent the Venue now and then. Been awhile, not even sure if it's there anymore. Good timing on the move! another 6 inches of snow last night.
I'll take some pics. I have an exo terra 18x18x18. I know, it's not ideal for having multiple heat zones but its good for now... I'll upgrade to a longer tank soon.
Normal Ball, 7 month old female. Still getting used to her.

Here is my Exo Terra. A coworker has a heatpad for me from her old tank So i'm using my regular heating pad for now, I keep it on low. Temp is around 85/day and 75/night. I need to up the humidity though.

Re: Yet another newbie... to forum and BP's.
Welcome to the forum. My 14 year old son is just amazed that at 45 there are still things I don't know. There's tons to learn here and if you have a question simply ask. Everyone is so willing to share their experiences!

You may want to bump those temps a little, i keep my BP's hottest spot (directly under the lamp) at 91f constantly (no nightime drop).
Great looking BP you got there.
