Talking Bell Line Pastel

This is "Gizmo" my Bell line pastel male. I plan on crossing him with my female spider this spring. If I'm lucky I will have some bumble bees this summer.

I love the way he holds his head on the first and last image. Also bumblebees are one of my favorite kind of BP morph. Lucky if you get some bred!

Re: Bell Line Pastel

BP's make great photo subjects because they are so pose-able. Unlike many snakey subjects you don't have to do a lot of running in circles trying to get them to hold still. They are almost like claymation figures at times. It's fun to take em out and place them in unusual places and photo graph them. I plan on doing a series of these this spring when the weather warms up.
