Today went to take the Ghost Gopher out to get a photo of her and set her on my bed. Went to take a pic (first pic) and must have startled her because she became defensive. Took 2 photos quickly then set her in her bin. Went to check up later and she was still not pleased so took a few more pics and let her be. She ate like normal today so hopefully she enjoys her peace and quiet. I don't handle and bug them often as it is.

Nice defensive pics. Had a corn that would do that constantly anytime he saw movement of any kind. He would never strike but would coil up on himself sorta like in that last picture and rock back and forth while hissing. He was a funny snake. Sure yours will indeed enjoy the peace that comes after eating a good meal and being left alone for a few days.

Hahaha! I love gopher and bull snakes because of the attitude. I had a baby bullsnake that was just the worst little pisser when you got him going. He always copped the 'tude when he was fed. You could hear him carrying on even after you left the room. He'd never bite, just reared up and hissed his little head off...lol.
