New Snake, stool issue (w/pic)
hi i recently purchase a 1 yr old northern pine snake about a week ago thiss morning i opened his cage and saw this no smell to it ...is this normal!! please respond

Did your snake shed recently? She/he may have been a little plugged up and finally was comfortable enough to relieve her/himself, causing that explosion.
The more veteran keepers/breeders should have answers for you. Snake stool will vary between species; my colubrids are extremely messy while my pythons typically excrete a nice, solid "log" (sorry, loss of words!).

That does look abnormal, but then it does look like there are a lot of urates mixed in

it looks like the mother of all poop to me
as said theres plenty urates present
when i used to do free shifts at a local reptile shop to gain experience i have to admit pine snakes flung out some of the nastiest looking poop
your going to have fun cleaning up after that one mate

Alot of my colubrids poops look like that.... a little darker but same consistency and what looks like intestines. but it always has a smell!

Colubrid poop is terrible. Yuck, it is the smelliest ever. My FWC is a real nasty boy. When he takes a dump the whole room stinks for hours, even after I've cleaned it up.
