Re: I have nothing to post...
people are going to rage and tell you not to have any snake around your neck because it could hit pressure points and knock you out, injuring you and/or your snake. good luck =/

Re: I have nothing to post...
calm down there and an fyi for you tea the snake is in the right spots in that pic that if it squeezed without even fully wrapping it would block your jugulars and in about 3 seconds you would be passed out and after a minute you would be dead. me and my friend used to sneak up on each other and do what i just told you (we do not do it anymore we learned our lesson when i didnt wake up for about 30 seconds and my friend thought i was dead)

Re: I have nothing to post...
actually to be honest, i few months back i read in the lacal paper a guy got killed by his boa that he had for almost 20 years or somthing close to it, cant rememeber the exact details from having his boa around his neck. being how it was just a few blocks from here and it wasnt some dude on the other side of the world telling me they know a guy.... made me make sure anytime i got a large snake out, i dont let them around my neck, over my shoulder i think is fine or like teaninjas pic ,but any more around my neck and i would readjust him :P you should post some pics spartan77 it been awhile since i seen some pics, actually i cant remeber seeing pics, maybe i have but more wont hurt either

Re: I have nothing to post...
In my opinion as long as you don't let it get a full loop around your neck you are fine, just chillin out there doesn't hurt you or the snake, and if it starts moving for a full loop just gently put your hand between the snake and your neck an slowly move him/her out and away, that's what i do when i handle my friends 6 foot albino Colombian RTB

Re: I have nothing to post...
Just to be clear - a snake DOES NOT need to get anywhere near a full loop around your neck to knock you out. If you are not experienced in defending it any martial artist can put you down with a thumb and forefinger in the right place. A snake can EASILY put enough pressure on these points accidently to make you black out before you realise what is happening.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT SNAKES AROUND YOUR NECK!

Re: I have nothing to post...
i agree over shoulders is ok but don't have it around your neck.
just isn't worth the risk they may be the softest of all snakes it only takes a second of them trying to balance themselves.
