Got these today:

Where's Waldo?

These are what you are looking for-

Cornsnake tame... hopefully they really DO eat.

Thanks for looking!

Re: Rough Green Snakes

They are tough to keep healthy.

Best of luck, I'd love to see them flourish in your care.

Re: Rough Green Snakes

I'm afraid the shadow from the flash has completely covered them... they are darn near invisible though, even without.... So far I only see them when they want me to.

Re: Rough Green Snakes

These are interesting snakes. Do you feed them pinky mice? I remember field herping in the scrub habitat of Florida and coming across one of these. It regurgitated a good sized spider!

Re: Rough Green Snakes

This species of snake is an insectivore, they will not eat pinkies, nor could a pinkie ever fit in it's mouth.

We have Smooth Green snakes in NY.. they roam free in my back yard.

But you have the world famous "Snake Road" in Illinois brother.. Why would you ever want to move further away from that??

This is why they seldom stay healthy in captivity.

Most people feed crickets exclusively, there is a nutrient present in the spiders they eat that is essential for good health.

Re: Rough Green Snakes

quick update, put in a dozen 3wk crickets today, and saw each snake eat... 30 minutes later I could see one cricket.
