Beautiful snake and great photo shoot! I really like his face and the color gradient from his nose to the back of his head! You all amaze me with your shedding pics...maybe one day.
I always seem to miss the shed process by a few minutes  However, I have managed to capture my Cali King on video shedding once.
My BRB shed yesterday and my JCP a few days back...My BP within the next 3 days....Maybe I'll catch him in action as I missed the other 2!

Thanks. He is a little beastie.
Racers use keen vision to home in on prey, hence the big eyes. they will pursue and overtake unlike most any other snake. literally chase the mouse, skink or Anole at great speed for as long as it takes to capture and eat.
Toby saw the floor once in his life, it was a bear getting him back into custody. He leaped away and was gone so quick my only lucky break was he boxed himself in to a corner of the room.
