Last summer I stopped mowing when I saw about 100 mantis all over the grass blades.
Very cool find

I keep praying mantids in my snake room, they`re great little things Well I say little, the Griffin mantis I`ve got at the moment is huge lol You lucky thing you! What a nice surprise! I`m not sure what species it is, I`ll pop a picture on the mantis forum for you and find out. One things certain, that`s going to be pretty big. She looks like she`s got two or three sheds left to go to adulthood and they pretty much double in size with each shed. Keep us informed! I`ll be very interested to see how she`s getting on I`ll let you know what species she is as soon as I find out
