colonies in reptile room

should i keep my rat colony and cricket colony in the reptile room. i don't want my snake smelling them and thinks its feeding. thanks in advance.

i seen people do that but i dont think its a great idea, i dont breed rats but all my bug colonys are in the garage and if i did breed rats they be in there to.

Many people, including myself, keep their rodents in the same room as they keep their snakes with no problems. Just make sure you handle your snakes BEFORE you deal with the rodents. And always wash your hands after handling.
