hmm should i or shoudnt i ??
I just seen a local add i could go pick up this weekend a proven breeding pair of morelia,1 male 5' coastal jag and 7' bredli female $750, the thing is i dont have a cage and im getting my 2 diamonds off gonesnakee in 2 weeks..... im not rich and the diamonds are tapping me out but i could visa the others and breed them this year to easilly pay off that 750 and i love both of them and was thinking of trying to get one of each, just as babies at later date like next year tops.but 750 is cheeper than they would cost me for them as 2010 snakes so im thinking scoop them up before somone else does. hmm touph call. these are them i emailed him and said im not 100% yet but if he would take 675 cash this weekend, i think if he will take it i might build another cage tomorow and go get them.but im not sure if i should just chill and enjoy my new diamonds and get some later, i know its not a once in a life time deal but i have been drooling over both these snakes since before i found the diamonds i decided was for me me me lol

He he he - kinda the same dilemma i had when the GTP came up - had literally just paid for my JCP when the box was delivered to teh reptile shop with the GTP in it. Do you dont you?? Your choice - will another deal like this come along - maybe, maybe not.
If you max yourself out now and one falls ill - will you have money available to treat them? If you will then go for it - your only young once!!

Re: hmm should i or shoudnt i ??
Sounds like a great deal. They're beautiful snake i do it in a heart beat if it was me and i had the money. Did the guy have any pics of the babies these two made? Seeing what kind of babies they produce might help you decided. I seen some reall, really nice Bredli x Jag lot of red to them as babies. Then i seen some thet were kind of plain for being part jag. They looked like bredli. Wait Bredli are cool looking. So it's a win win. lol Your going to get beautiful snakes either way. I go for it. Worth that would happen is you go bankrupted and have to sell them to me really cheap. lol

Re: hmm should i or shoudnt i ??
i would need to build 2 cages to house them right? i emailed him last night and said i just cant afford it atm after taking them and building 2 new cages and getting them set up + if they bread this year ill need the space to house the babies and asked what he would take for a bredle jag hes got ahtching aug 11 so i might just go that way wait a few years breed pure diamonds and use my diamond male to breed with the female bredle jag, But he emailed back and said 675 as he needs the room bad for his new breeding projects but never gave a price on the babies yet.....Damn i want to but then im scared it will backfire because im using laoned $ to do it instead of saved cash like i use to buy all my pets just incase... AHhhhh man i should do it, i know if i continue to say no ill see the guy that buys them posting the babies this year and making a nice income and ill kick myself for not getting them and not getting to own them as they are so sweet lookng. would i need to tanks for them as they are a breeding pair? i would wouldnt I,

Re: hmm should i or shoudnt i ??
i'm a tad biased mate but
GO FOR IT
YOU JUST CAN'T HAVE ENOUGH CARPETS .....!!!
nice pair of snakes, but dont rely on them producing as all sorts can go wrong.carpets are easy enough to breed but you have to take murphy's law into it.what can go wrong will go wrong.sorry to be negative mate i just dont want you counting your eggs before they hatch.i'm sure you'll do just fine but dont count it as money already in the bank.
all the best in getting them, let us know how it goes.
cheers shaun

Re: hmm should i or shoudnt i ??
ya i spoke with him on the phone just now and we got a deal made $675 cash tomorow and i give him a snake next year when i breed them. who knows if he will come to collect but for the price around here i cant even get a 2010 baby of each of them for that price $400 a peice is the cheepest i found for bredle and coastal jag babies, so i cant complain, although i could give him the other 75$ and keep that baby later i guess.. might be worth it or roll on the fact he dont call me when he sees my add go out for selling babies next year, which if it were me i would say the same thing but probly never come to collect.YA!! 1 sleep away from getting my breeding pair LOL im so excited!! this will be the first time i try breeding so i got lots to read on it now.

lol im very aware of this, me and murphy are 2 pees in a pod, if it were not for my bad luck i would have no luck at all lol but i always land on my feet, ie i will save cash, a little nest egg for somthing then all of a sudden car breaks down and the cash i had saved is just enpouph to cover the bill. get hit by a 60 foot winabago a couple months back that fell of the jack stands in a mechanics shop rolled down the hill smoked the side of the van i was driving as i was stuck bewteen to vehicles in the turn lane and could not do anything but watch it hit me but i didnt get hurt at all and the damage could have been much worse everything got covered... me and my good old buddy murphy LOL you know how it is.

Re: hmm should i or shoudnt i ??
OH YEAH!! i just got them home just now !! the male is fighting to get out of the bag, the female is chilling and keeping her head hidden when i opened it up so they are stressed a bit, ill put them in their bins for now as i build cages tomorow and ill take some better pics and post them ona new thread for yall to see. they both bread already this year so ill wait till next year, he said to feed her and mate them again this year but i dont like that idea. power breeding is never good specialy for such a young pair of snakes, 2007 im told they were born. i think she should have had her first clutch next year not this year yet alone 2 in the first year :P poor girl. Woot Woot she is beautifull.
