new enclosure

my older brother brought his old cage to me and it it quite a bit taller than my old one. i think my carpet would really appreciate a taller enclosure since i have never seen him touch the ground. however, my brother geckos were in the cage before he gave it to me.. they both died in there.... so i am very sure that it needs to be cleaned. another problem faces me now... i don't know how to clean it because it is mesh.. so if anyone has any suggestions please tell me. thank you

Re: new enclosure

i've heard mesh isnt exactly a good idea with carpets especially, nose rub can be rough with them, if you were to clean it you would want a diluted bleach solution, i cant remember the exact measurements off had, but i'm sure if you search around on here you'll find it quite easily! good luck!
