I've heard Hondos grow from 4 to 7 feet - Pinky has increased her appetite since I got her about a year ago and is shedding every 2 months - eats every week, one mouse weekly when I got her (she was about 3-4 yrs, the breeder said) and lately moved to 2 mice at a time. And yesterday she took her first rat pup!
That is one sweet snake, im very jealous. As Jenn said a lot of snakes have a growth spurt when going on to rats. I try to get most of mine on rats when they are very young and also feed them a lot up untill they are 1 year old then slow down a bit on feeding. This is how you would produce monsters in my opinion.
Im sure you will results by putting yours on to rats.
