Re: Peter Kahl throwing in the towel

I must admit, the link threw me off. Darn it, I wanted some cheap cialis.

Re: Peter Kahl throwing in the towel

I'm wondering why Pete has decided to pack it in, or if he just sent that e-mail to Brian at a bad time while he was in one of those "eff my collection, it's too much work, I'm selling everything and getting out" moments that we all have from time to time. I've had at least a dozen serious ones in the last month alone...
I wonder if Brian jumped the gun and made this public when Pete didn't want the general public to know.
Lots of questions, hopefully time will answer them all.

I can see a lot of breeders getting nervous about the proposed bans. If an import/export ban passes, you're stuck with all of your breeders, and all of your currently available animals, while suddenly losing all of your income. You're left with two ugly choices. Euthenasia, and trying to feed and house hundreds of snakes while simultaneously looking for another career.

Re: Peter Kahl throwing in the towel

lol well i know on kijiji.ca they have had problems with people selling snakes in zones where they are illegal, i.e. i saw a rattlesnake in an area where pythons, boids, and pretty much anything other then corns and kings were illegal, not to mention a bloody south pacific. I thought any venomous reptile was illegal in Canada unless you have a zoological permit or something along those lines lol!
