BRB update

so i just got back from looking around at all the supplies i would be needing, with the hides, water dish, substrate, ect... i would only need round 75 bucks so im happy with that!!

i just want to know what you guys use for thermometers/hydrometers... i really want one that has a probe with a wire. i found one at walmart for only like 8 bucks a peice... what do you guys use?? can some one post a link to maybe combo thermometers/hydrometers?

im thinking about a 25 qt tub, its about 2-2.5 foot by 2-2.5 foot and about 6-7inches high... i will be drilling/cutting holes in the side for air, but not too many to help with help humidity... using cypress multh and putting a branch in the tub too. will be using an undertank heater and large water bowl. plus the hides.

sound good?

thanks guys and again thank soooooooooooooo much for helping out with my new buddy

Re: BRB update

Walmart/Home Depot/Lowes all sell Acurite Thermometers. The $12 ones. I use them and with a little modification all the probes became external and the unit is outside the cage, probes are inside, and I get very accurate readings.

Re: BRB update

Taking the indoor temp probe and the humidity probe and connecting them to their own bit of wire so that I can run all the wires into the cage and have the unit outside the cage.
