I found this site after searching on Google for a forum on building cages as I have recently started building a custom enclosure for mine and my fiancee's ball python.

Hey there, welcome. Best site I have found is this one: Herpers toolbox
It is really helpful because he gives pictures throughout the entire process. I have built multiple cages based on his designs and they work very well. Hope this helps!
