from veiled to panther

Hi, so we've had veiled's in the past, lost one in a sad way a few years ago and are getting ready to open our hearts again, but this time, we think we might want to get a panther chameleon. There's a guy around here who needs to find a home for his...he's 20 mths old, male, and is apparently healthy on every way/....honestly there's no real way to verify this info, but I would hate for this little dude to go somewhere that can;t care for him, so I'm not sure that would stop me, it's not his fault his family is moving on. My main thing is, I've never had a panther chameleon and was wondering if anyone could tell me about there experiences and thoughts. I'd hate to assume that I have all the answers just because I had a veiled, I mean veileds differ from each other so and panther and a veiled surely will...I'm doing some research on my end, but personal experience always helps...

Re: from veiled to panther

My opinion is that rehoming animals is one of the most fullfilling things you can do. We have rehomed cats, guineas, dogs, rats and are about to rehome our first snake. It may just be me being soppyminded but i feel that they "know" that you are doing something good for them and give you more lovin.

Re: from veiled to panther

"adopting" unwanted or neglected pets is really cool.

hopefully someone with panther experience will chime in.
