Hi guys and girls

I`m after a few experienced words on breeding Carpet pythons. I`ve bred other species before so I`m not completely inexperienced but I`ve got specific questions. I had planned to start a night time brumation of my Carpets tonight (Jungle and Jungle Jag) But... I went to check on my snakes this morning, as I do about four times a day, just so I know what everyone is doing and I saw this....

Not for the first time I might add! He`s always mating her. She`s so muscular I find it difficult to palpate her, I can, but I just think I could easily miss something. Maybe it will be obvious when it happens as with other species I don`t know. My question is, what do you guys think about going ahead with the brumation having witnessed a coupling? Leave it a while and keep checking palpating her now and then? Watch for swelling? I don`t want to start dropping the temperature in there if she`s going to finally catch. It`s really easy to get these two to mate, lots of privacy and a bit of a spray and they just jump on each other! lol The babies will be something really special from these two aswell, very exciting. Anyways, what do you guys think? I`d be especially interested in hearing from anyone who actually breeds or have bred Carpets so you can tell me just how obvious it is when palpating..... Cheers
