Enclosure Plans

I've been hoping to make my own enclosure for my ball python and this is the sketch/crappy mspaint drawing that I came up with. Let me know what you think and what you guys think I could improve on.

So this enclosure will be made out of wood, and the sliding doors will be glass.
There's a heating pad slot for UTH as well as a screen opening for the heat lamp.

Re: Enclosure Plans

That looks nice!

I build things like that, but with hinged tops.

Re: Enclosure Plans

Hahah, yeah. I have a draft guard on the bottom of my snake room door now, so even the smallest cannot get out of the room. But it still startles me when I walk in and one of the big ones has gotten out and is sitting there looking at me..lol.

Re: Enclosure Plans

Haha, luckily I haven't had to deal with an escaping snake quite yet, hopefully I won't ever have to because my mom is already really against the idea of having a snake as a pet.

Re: Enclosure Plans

you slip it under and the bottom the "actual tank" is glass (for easy cleaning)
