Rat Feeder Breeders

I've been looking for a breeder which sells live rat pups in Mississauga, but so far I've had no luck.. Any ideas?

Re: Rat Feeder Breeders

Any particular reason you would not care to buy frozen feeders?

We have a very large member base in Canada, so I'm sure one of those members would be happy to help out.

Personally I prefer to feed F/T rodents.

Well doesn't portCredit Pets sell them where you live?
I'm asking people around here if it's a good store or do they give people the run around all the time?

Re: Rat Feeder Breeders

I would prefer going to a breeder just because when you go to the pet stores they don't tell you where the rats came from and how they were treated before hand. I have a friend that works at a pet store which sells F/T and all the employees there just tell you that they are frozen when they have them delivered. They don't sell live rodents there but even if they did I probably wouldn't buy them.

I also wouldn't mind a few recommendations to reputable breeders that sell F/T as well as live though

Re: Rat Feeder Breeders

Here in the USA we are very lucky to have Rodent Pro...

I get 500 frozen rodents delivered to my house for around $100

Re: Rat Feeder Breeders

Another option would be to get a pair of adult rats... They breed like crazy.

Re: Rat Feeder Breeders

Yup and these are the problems i'm talking about with proper care when looking for food or equipment in Canada.
I was hot headed tonight i tell you when i got a hold of PortCreditPets.
All i get is trouble within the reptile trade.
They make it so hard for us reptile keepers i tell you.
You can't even buy reptiles anymore because they ether don't know what your talking about.
Or they lie to you because all they think about is the dollar.
And its a shame that a person like me has all the money in the world but it's too hard to get a strait answer to even buy a reptile.
Now i got to buy a pack of smokes because i'm depressed.
