EXO-Terra or Zoo Med Waterfalls or Fogger

im trying to get the humidity up in the tank without having to continuously mist the tank, so i read and was told foggers and/or waterfalls work well as well as circulating the water, have you guys/gals ever used or looked into these? any info will be helpful!

I've heard they accumulate bacteria quickly unless cleaned very often. It's always been recommended to me not to use them, and I never have so I can't speak from experience.
