Question Cats and Tarantulas

Does anyone know what were to happen to a cat if it got bitten by a tarantula? I've looked all over the internet and never really got an answer.

Re: Cats and Tarantulas

Depends on the species of tarantula but generally speaking if an adult cat is bitten, it will not result in serious complications. If a kitten gets bitten, that is more likely to result in complications. What you should be more concerned about is the tarantula getting torn apart by the cat. I had the misfortune of losing a baby tarantula to my cats because they managed to knock over the tank and get inside.
