Re: shead stuck in eye

Chase, one stuck eye cap is not a big deal. It's probably bothering you more than it's bothering her. It is a message for you, though--when you see her going into shed, raise the humidity more.

A couple of things you can try--get a pillowcase wet (not dripping--wring it out some) and put your snake in it for a few hours in a warm place. Keep the pillowcase damp by misting it. When you take her out, she may have rubbed off the stuck eye cap. If not, don't worry about it a lot, as it will probably come off during the next shed if you get the humidity up enough.

I've heard of some other tricks to try, but I think it won't be necessary unless the next shed sticks on the same eye. However, if it's really bothering you, we can discuss it more.

Hang in there!
