I picked up a ZooMed UTH (the 30-40g one) with the intention of using it on the tub I am planning on putting my BP in. When I got it home I realized it said "not for use on plastic or wood terrariums". Can I still use it on the tub?
Also, can UTH pads be re-used? IE if I stuck it onto the tank she is in right now and peel it off and re-use it on the tub?

And it was fine? On another forum I was told by someone that they once had a plastic terrarium melt a little from their UTH..but I suppose if I have a dimmer or thermostat attatched it wouldn't get hot enough.

i've stuck mine on my tank and moved it to another side before and it seems to work well.

I stuck mine to a piece of glass about an inch larger than the heatpad itself. Then placed it under the plastic container and use a timer. it doesn't heat the container directly so it keeps it warm, but not hot enough to melt the plastic.
