Hi there!
I've been noticing a lot of numbers next to snake breeds.
I was wondering what they mean...
For example I saw: 1.1 proven het albino and possibly het anery.
I have also seen 2.2 kenyan sand boas.
I'm looking forward to finding out what the numbers mean.
Thank so much,
Kenny
I believe the first number is for the number of males, the second is the number of females. It is the ratio of males to females just not 100% sure on which comes first
You can also use it to say how many males and females in a "litter". I believe it is called a brood? I have usually seen it when people are bescribing which snakes they have and are breeding or selling. 1.1 would mean one of each sex.
