i just got a offer for a het ghost ball but i also have a offer for
het red axanthic im a little confusd about these 2 snake i have just a normal from wat im told but i friend says there is albino in him can anyone help

well my friend its really hard to say their hets so they look normal . some hets have some colouration that may let you know that their hets for a certian morph.and some don't they just look normal. Most of the time its all a chance thing you cant be sertian tell proven out by breeding. The orange ghost is a nice morph. its up to you if you know the breeder is trustable . Did you get your normal ball python from your friend or is he just looking at it and saying it has albino in it ? buying a het is a gamble and a waiting game but is fun because you never know whats in their genetics. theirs some good web sites to help you out with genetics like ballpython.ca ralphdavis.com and theirs a better site to help you with other types of info its at reptilescanada.com

I would only buy hets from very reliable breeders. With background info and pictures available on the parents. If this person has all of that then it would just be preference. Google pics of each morph and see what you like better. If I missunderstood the question sorry.

the red axanthic is comein from a guy that got it from cory woods an we have seen her pics she is very nice looking so hopefully when we get to breed we get some nice colors down the road

het red axanthic is a visual morph. when you look at one you can tell that it is a het red axanthic. a het ghost or het albino looks like a normal ball python. so unless you get your het from a reliable breeder or person you trust then the only way of find out if it "has albino in him" is to prove it out by breeding it to an albino or 100% het albino ball. cool?
