Topbunk cornsnake - Help!

Hi please can anyone help?
My new 6 month old corn snake keeps hidind at the top of his tank. I have a heatmat and hides at each end but he insists on climbing up and settling in on the glass ledge at the top. Is this ok for him? he's alert and feeds well but just wanted to check. I know they like to climb but thought this was a little odd as he always goes straight back up even if I put him at the bottom.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Hmmm..this looks familliar...
There are some pretty good responses in the other thread about this issue. You could try looking there.
