I am new here. I am from Southwestern Ontario. My husband and i own 3 ball pythons, and 5 corn snakes. I joined this group because i have a question that nobody else can seem to answer. The question is regarding my new ball python (just got it on sunday...) which i purchased from a pet store about an hour away from me. On our way home from the store i took her out of the reptile box and noticed that she was making a weird
popping noise , My husband said it was best to go home and wait and see if she was still doing this.. he thought our other 2 ball pythons did the same thing. So we checked our other 2 pythons, and neither of them do this. It's only the new one.
Anyone know what this could be? I read online and some people are stating its a RI, others are saying it could be something the snake caught from the petstore, others say its normal. Which one do i follow, which one do i believe?? I called the pet store and they told me that i would have to call back later today when someone who knows something about snakes is there.. Well .. my warrinty on the snake is done tomorrow, so i dont want to surpass my warrinty and be out of luck if there is something wrong with the snake.
