Welcome to the forum. Your first name is not Bob by chance? I grew up with a guy name Bob Porter who loved reptiles. Of course he lived in Western Canada and you are from the States, so it could not be you.

You know they have these great things called "trucks" these days Jason. People use them to move places, or even move countries :P

I have a brother named Bob but we still grew up in the states. anyway I have a BCI baby second time around quite a few years in between, but I think Boas are wonderful snakes and the forums really help all the new owners of any reptiles give their pets the best care and answer any questions they may have which is a wonderful resource to have.
