If i bought a sixty gallon tank and put a divider in the exact middle of the tank would it be 30 on each side

Yes, 60 divided by two is in fact 30.

I've got a 30gal Long, its nice for my ball, he can stretch out all the way with a little room left over, it's perfect for him until I have the mooh-lah to build my own kick-@$$ enclosure.

who makes a 60 gal tank..... what company? I don't know of any.... seriously...

To find the real capacity of your tank:
Multiply the length x the width x the depth in inches, then divide by 231
And that will give you the the capacity in gallons.

60 Gallon Aquarium
I think it says its a full aquarium setup, so I'm guessing that its possible to get just the tank from somewhere. Another site I found on Google was 65gal for $85 I think, but it looked like the tank was permanently split.
