ideas for my new boa cage?

i have 2 new boas and this time i would like to construct my own cage for them. i want a really nice one but the type i have in mind would run me around 300 bucks and i would like to have my own creation. i want it to be wood with front opening doors and built in fixtures for heat lamps. im thinking about 3'x1.5'x1.5'. could you guys give me some tips on what you would do and if there are places to pick up the supplies that are better then home depot. im open to any suggestions and would like to know some tricks of the trade that you guys have learned from experience. im not new to owning snakes but i am to building terrariums so anything helps. thanks

also i was wondering what are the pros and cons for all the different types of front opening doors? i was thinking about swinging doors opening from the center. what do you guys prefer
