Hello everbody

My son and I are new to snakes. My son is in college at moorpark in the teaching zoo. Now he is learning and has a fascination with snakes. We received a ghost honduran milk and now in the process of getting mate and more hondurans. If anyone knows or anyplace to get some. Please let me know.

Thanks

Russ

Re: Hello everbody

Hi Russ, welcome to SsnakesS. Hondurans are great. Check out the lampropeltis forum for more specific discussions about milk snakes.

http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/lampropeltis/

In terms of finding breeders, usually a simple google search will yield some in your area. I am not sure where moorpark is. But if you google around "honduran milk snake <your state> you can usually find local breeders, or just do a search for those breeders in general, as most of them will ship just about anywhere in the states and canada.

Also, as this site is primarily for snake enthusiasts in Canada, check out kingsnake.com for specifically american breeders.

In terms of forum discussion, though, I much prefer it here. Welcome aboard.

yea, Moorpark is in California, The school is America's Teaching Zoo at Moorpark college. They say rated 4th in the World. I hope he does well and have a future. Anyway we are looking at Vanishing Pattern Hypos female to go with his ghost. Any other suggestions?

Re: Hello everbody

Must be a pretty cool school. Does he have to buy his own shovel, or do they provide one for him?

Welcome to sssssssssnakesssssssss

There's a lot of knowlegable people here, but I'd watch out for whatever ffollett or gonesnakee have to say, I think sometimes, they just make it up as they go along.... :P
