Re: Help!!

Sounds like a tick to me. Can you post a photo?????
I would suggest getting a hold oh whomever you got the snake from to find out any and all history. It's important to know these things.

Re: Help!!

i tried emailing the guy who i got her from and he wont email me back. it isnt a tick though because it just popped and fluid came out of it. i can feel that underneath the scales there is a bumo that you can see and i think that is were the fluid is coming from. I think it may be abscesses

Re: Help!!

Yes that sounds like an abcess. Take your new snake to a good reptile vet and have it examined.

Good luck

Re: Help!!

Did you by her personally, or online? A dirty cage from the previous owner could also link to something fungal from laying in bacteria. It rest between the scales and sooner or later will cause an infection sometimes in a blister. Either way a vet visit would be benificial.

Re: Help!!

i bought her from guy in ontario and she has blister disease so right now i am giving her injections every 3 days and i will be taking her back to the vet in 2 weeks. I am also giving her cream to put on them.
