As I am unfamiliar with genetics in corns, could someone please tell me if it is the male or the female that carries the recessive genes needed to produce the unusual morphs? Or does this not apply to snakes?
Thanks!
both the male and female have to carry the traight your looking for, if both animals are hetero for the traight your looking for then a few of the offspring should show up as homo's for that traight, so basically you need 2 hetro animals or all you would produce is possible hets
