Animal Plastics style?

So I've been trying to hunt down some caging within the country that are along the lines of Animal Plastics. I don't really want to ship a bunch of cages over the border. Also, I'd rather have a set group of say 6 cages already together. Maybe with a little assembly as it would suck to ship it all as one piece. Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Animal Plastics style?

Thanks a lot. I have another question. Is it possible to build my own plastic type cages? Or is there a material similar that I could use if I wanted to build my own?

You can yes, I believe you can buy the core PVC sheets, however I believe they are in bulk and you would also need a heat bender for the sheets and a plastic welder. By the time you get done it may have been cheaper just to buy them unless you are building a whole lot of them.

Re: Animal Plastics style?

Well it's the thought of potentially just making my own whenever I see fit to need a new cage haha. I don't quite like rubbermaids for a collection. Maybe for breeders or babies I don't plan on keeping, but for my pets, I don't really like them too much. Besides the girlfriend would think I'm cruel haha

Now to look up both of those tools. haha. Got a place to recommend?

McMaster-Carr

I get all sorts of stuff from these guys, hell they may even have the PVC stuff right there on site, I know they have heat bending tools and what not. It's a huge site.
