Hibernating Grey Tree Frog??

So I have a grey tree frog (hyla versicolor) that is begun his hibernation (i think). Lately he has been spending more and more time on the ground, curled up, not hunting, and jst saturday he dug a burrow and is now underground. so my question is what do I do?? I have removed all crickets, and now its just him, dirt and fake plants, his viv. is in my room, so temps are 70's... should i just let him go? should I mist? How often/ How much? this is my first time and his too (hes about 3months old) so i want him to come out of this unscathed...
