Asian biotope

Hi, its been a while since Ive posted on these forums but im back

Last october I made a thread in the general enclosure section about a bullfrog I bought. It was sold to me as an albino north american bullfrog but after a few months I came to realize that that was wrong. If it were a north american bullfrog it would sex out to be female. It barks at night and has enlarged thumbs. Because female north american bullfrogs dont get enlarged thumbs (which are used by males to grasp females during mating) I decided to do some research and find out what species I really owned. It turns out it is an albino male asian/tiger bullfrog. Now that I know where my frog is from I have decided to make a 75gallon biotope for him. Ive already narrowed my list down to what fish I will use:

Cherry Barb (Puntius titteya) school of like 0.0.6
Gold Barb (Puntius sachsii) school of like 0.0.5
Betta (Betta splendens) school of like 1.1
Male Powder Blue Gourami (Colisa lalia) 1.0
Zebra Danio (Danio rerio) school of like 0.0.4
And one loach, either:
Dojo Loach (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus)
or
Rainbow Shark (Epalzeorhynchos frenatum)

I am just unsure of what plants to use. Ive already decided to use:
Java moss
Java fern
peace lily (tank will have a narrow land section)

I dont know what other plants to use though. Im thinking about some Vallisneria sp for the background and some short lawn like plant for the foreground. I just dont know which Vallisneria to use because I am confused by them. Online stores give both the strait vallisnerias and the twisted vallisnerias the same latin name: Vallisneria spiralis. I want a strait species, not a twisted one. Which species should I get? What short lawn plant would be good for an asian biotope? I really like E. tenellus but that is south american... Also, are there any small crypts that would work for a foreground plant? They would have to be able to withstand the force of my frog swimming through them without breaking.

Being a Bullfrog don't you think its likely to eat all the other inhabitants of the tank? I'd think the fish will all 'disappear" rather quickly with the BF in there, Mark

Good point, I forgot to address that in my first post lol. My frog is an amelanistic (albino). He has vision problems. I first had him in a 10 tank with three feeder goldfish for a month and he never touched them. He would dive at them every once in a while but was always off by about half an inch. Even when I lowered the water level to 3 inches. Then I moved him and two of the feeders to a 55 gallon, the third feeder died. After eight months of not eating the goldfish in a bare 55gallon with a floating turtle dock and about 11 inches of water I decided to add some sword tails. They are doing fine. The tank has like 30ish gallons of water in it with some floating plants, a turtle dock, and a fluval 304. The feeders have been with him so long that one is too big to be eaten! It has grown to about 4 inches. I talked to some people about why he would be such a poor hunter, because of his lack of fishing abilities and because he sometimes jumps right over crickets when trying to shove them in his mouth, and one person said that he thinks that because my frog has such pale eyes, too much light is entering them and causing him to have vision problems. That makes sense, because albino people can get sunblindness sometimes and albino leopard gecko hatchlings act like they are blind for their first few days if they are kept in the light. So, not only does the albino gene make the frog look cool, it also lets me add some fish to his tank :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
