His neck is just fine! In fact he's really unharmed. I think what you see is a twig that got in the way when I took the pic.

Cranwill, they are indeed hot. Envenomation occurs most often when they are handled roughly I'd say. Very dangerous for little kids. If I remember right, a 6-7 year old was bitten this year when he picked one up. Recovered though I'm not sure of any permanent harm. Here's a belly shot of this one.

Send him this way!!  I desparately need another Eastern Coral for my Envenomation Protocol Training programs. I already have 9 of them scheduled in March. Guess I need to get out into the field ASAP and try to find some
